ViewFinder Emerging Directors Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Paramount ViewFinder Emerging Directors Program is a company-wide initiative that provides early-career directors from underrepresented communities an opportunity to enhance their skillset and grow their network. Participants take part in an educational curriculum focused on professional development, honing their craft, meeting with network and creative executives, and shadowing established TV directors on scripted and non-scripted content across Paramount Global's programming.
2024-2025 ViewFinder Emerging Directors Program Applications are open April 17th through May 18th 11:59 PM PST. The program will run for Paramount's 2024-25 television season. Paramount reserves the right to adjust the program schedule as necessary.
Frequently Asked Questions
Applications must be received between April 17th, 2024 and May 18th 2024. Applicants must be 21 years or older. At least 2 samples of completed narrative content directed by you (both samples must be available at single link). Must provide resume and bio, along with other application requirements. Accepted participants will be notified in Fall 2024. The program will run through the 2024-2025 season. Paramount reserves the right to adjust the program schedule as necessary.

ESSAY QUESTIONS - The application contains more details on the two essay prompts regarding your directorial work.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION - Provide a letter of recommendation from someone who can speak to your communication and leadership skills. The recommender need not be from entertainment, but they must have worked with you in a professional capacity and be able to provide specific examples of both your communication and leadership skills.
SUBMISSION RELEASE FORM - Please agree to the terms and conditions within the application, otherwise your submission will not be processed.
DIRECTOR CONTENT SUBMISSIONS - Provide a single link to two director samples (i.e. Linktree, Vimeo, YouTube, etc.).
